Mung Tip (Liza Wang) and Ting Sum (Patrick Tse) fall in love with each other during student movements. But their respective families, enemies to each other for decades, disapprove of this relationship. The young couple finally reconciles the two families through tireless efforts and gets married. However, Mung Tips adoptive brother Tin Ngai (Ray Lui) has admired her for a long time. Even though he himself is also married, he is still jealous of Ting Sum. His plan to revenge on him never cease in the next two decades...
